Las Vegas Royals defeated the Nevada Pharaohs 144-127 in a rematch of the two best ABA teams in Vegas. Dartavious Young had a monster game with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. Sir Washington had his best game of the season, scoring 26 points. Team owner Dominque Watson scored 25 points to continue his hot streak (27 PPG) against the Pharaohs. Josh Major came off the bench

and scored 14 points while starting PG Tommie Sanders scores 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds to help the Royals move to 4-1 on the season.Gerad Davis led the Pharaohs with 41 points.

Gerad Davis (Nevada Pharaohs) continued his scoring streak against the Las Vegas Royals after scoring 41 points in their second matchup. Although the Pharoahs fell in defeat, Davis was a standout player yet again. The Royals may be the best ABA team in Vegas but with Davis averaging over 35 points per game against them, he might be the best ABA player in the city. Josh Major led all bench scorers with 14 points and was a key contributor to the Royals 2nd victory over the Pharaohs. Coming into the game averaging nearly 20 points per game off the bench, Major is a threat to score instantly. With a game reminiscent of JR Smith, expect the New Orleans native to make big plays and have huge scoring nights for this Vegas squad. If the Royals are going to win an ABA championship, Major will have to play a big part and role during the team’s championship chase.
